The Four Cottages
Our four cottages in Brittany are situated in Mellé, ideally positioned for visiting both the coastal and inland areas of
Brittany.
La Basse Rouerie was sympathetically converted in 2002 from a stone longère into four cottages providing modern
conveniences yet retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse.
The four cottages named for the trees in our orchard can be rented independently or as a group booking for up to
26 people.
Set in 2 acres of gardens with views of the countryside and with lots of ameneties for the whole family we have taken
the time to put into our cottages what others sometimes omit.
Rental weeks are from 4pm Saturday to 10am Saturday and included in the price are electricity and gas and bedding and towels (please bring
your own pool/beach towels).
On arrival at your cottage you'll find a complimentary welcome pack
including essentials such as tea, coffee, milk,
bread, butter and homemade jam plus of course a bottle of wine!
There is a heating and wood allowance in the cooler months.
Christmas and New Year
For Xmas and New Year bookings the cottages are festively decorated including a real tree.
A log fire welcomes you along with a bottle of bubbly and luxury chocolates.
Short Breaks
From October until April we offer 3 night weekend breaks. This is now an extremely viable option as Ryanir
fly into Dinard. Car hire prices are very reasonable. Please check our price list for current rates.
